For use on stern glands and in smaller sizes in general purpose water packing.
Lighthouse packing is plaited from high grade flax blended with other natural fibres carefully selected to provide high wet strength when in contact with seawater thereby ensuring a long packing life. Each strand is thouroughly inpregnated with a special water resisting mica lubricant before packing.
