REDHEAD PUMPS

These immersion type pumps are designed to fit any tank and enter the slip from the surface and are suspended from the side of your tank with a bracket arm.   The motor and motor mount remain above the surface of the slip.  The motor shaft and the pump impeller shaft are aligned as one unit.  There are no bearings or seals used (except motor bearings).  There are jet ports in the pump which eject streams of slip (much like a whirlpool bath) keeping the slip in constant gentle agitation.  All action is below the surface and no air is drawn in.  Complete with 1/3 HP, 1725 RPM, 110 volt, thermo protected motor; 1" vinyl hose with gas type nozzle, mounting bracket and stainless steel screen.  All Redhead pumps pump 8 gallons per minute.  Available in various lengths.  Length is measured from bottom of motor to bottom of pump.  29 to 35 lbs. depending on length of pump.
