Construction"Ibex 162" spiral wound gaskets are constructed from continuous, spirals of specially-formed stainless steel strip with intermediate plies of asbestos-free material e.g. graphite, ceramic, PTFE, etc. Their inherent resilience enables them to maintain an effecitve seal at high fluctuating temperatures and pressures and also the ability to absorb slight flange imperfections.
