Spiral Wound Gasket

Different combination offers a variety of different properties described in the following table.

Aiflon PTFE offers a wide range of compounded products with good mechanical properties, electrical properties, thermal properties, chemical resistance, low friction coefficient and good resistance to wear. They can be mostly used in valve seats, bearings, requested to resin sliding and chemicals, elastic band for unlubricated compressors. An extended range of improved mechanical and processing properties can be additionally reached by combination of virgin PTFE and different fillers.

APPLICATION:

Several types of PTFE gaskets are produced to meet the most demanding application.

HY-S569F is PTFE gasket used filler materials such as glass fiber, carbon fiber and graphite etc. The filled PTFE has improved compression strength, better abrasion resistance, high thermal conductivity and lower thermal expansion compared with pure PTFE products.

CONSTRUCTION:

Description: HY-S569 PTFE Gasket is molded or skived or cut from virgin PTFE powder or compounds, sheets, rods, tube etc. It has the best chemical corrosion resistance among known plastics. Without being aging, lowest friction coefficient, wear resistance. The unloaded operating temperature range is -180~+260C.

6,  Ring Joint Gasket

HY-S566 have been proven to be both reliable and cost-effective for flange and heat exchange application, especially used in low-pressure applications in large diameter flue gas ducts at high temperature, also suitable for uneven or distorted sealing surfaces. It eliminates the problem of difficult handing with large non-metal gaskets used in those applications.

APPLICATION:

Description: Corrugated Metal Gasket consists of a metal core with concentric grooves on both sides, coated with expanded graphite or PTFE layer. The thickness of metal can be thinner, e.g. 3mm, 2mm, 1mm, 0.5mm, compared with S565 Kammprofile gasket, and the corrugation pitch is 3mm, 4mm or 6mm depending on the width of the sealing face.

S565 Basic Type Kammprofile Gasket

Description: KammprofileTM Gasket (Serrated Metallic Gasket) consist of a metal core, generally stainless steel with concentric grooves on both sides. A sealing layer is usually applied on either side and depending on the service duty the material for this layer can be expanded graphite, PTFE, Asbestos free gasket sheeting materials or some soft metal. It can be used without sealing layers to provide an excellent sealing but there is a risk of flange surface damage especially at high seating pressure.
