Gaskets

Double jacketed gaskets consist of a sheet metal cover with filler material of graphite, CSF, PTFE, etc. which improves its resistance characteristics to temperature and loads. Its structure and design makes it compressible with tightening loads lower than those required for metallic gaskets. Double jacketed gasket are used in  high pressures and temperatures applications. Metal materials used are soft iron, all grade of steel, brass, monel, inconel, aluminum, copper, titanium, nickel, incoloy etc.
