Following suspension of plunger engine coil wire for 24 hours in 15 C water, it is subjected to an initial 3 Kv 50 Hz voltage for 10 minutes. Following the high voltage trial,insulation resistance is tested through 100 V c.c.
The voltage test of engines wound with wire successfully passing the high voltage test will be determined through the following formula.
