By the simple switch operation the orientation of revolution of the motor can be reversed in a short time.
On the other hand, Because of increasing the temperature is higher than that of induction motor, its continuous operation is limited within 30 minutes.

Basically, reversible motor is the same as induction motor. But, it has the large loading torque for improving characteristics of instantaneous operation and the break instrument is installed to protect the overrun of the motor.
