If for any reason the hydraulic system is loaded to maximum operating pressure the main relief valve will open and remain open until the unit is switched off or it times out and goes into sleep mode. This safety feature ensures maximum hydraulic pressure is never maintained for more than a split second unlike other swaging units. This safety feature also ensures that the unit is never subjected to excessive overload.

The motor only runs on demand, when you depress the tool trigger it remains running whilst the series of fasteners is installed but if there is no demand for a pre-selected period of time the unit switches off and goes into sleep mode. A touch of the tool trigger starts the unit instantly. This standby feature conserves power and enhances system life.
