Product Details
SELEE filters include patented preheat dots for temperature indication as well as our Safeseal? and other proprietary gaskets for a secure fit in the filter bowl.
Ceramic Foam Filters of SELEE? Structure are available in sizes from 225mm to 660mm square and in a wide range of pore sizes.
The filtered metal is significantly cleaner. Cleaner metal results in higher-quality castings, less scrap, and fewer inclusion defects, all of which contribute to bottom-line profit.
As the stream of molten aluminum alloy travels through the 50mm thick tortuous path of the filter, non-metallic inclusions are captured inside the ceramic structure.
The Ceramic Foam Filter of SELEE? Structure was the first cost-effective media to remove non-metallic inclusions from molten aluminum.
Introduced by SELEE in the mid-1970s, it continues to be the standard for aluminum filtration in cast shops all over the world.
