Pressure Sand Filters

Pressure sand filter is a type of depth filter where graded sand is used as media. Water is pumped through sand bed with pressure there by small particles of dirt and physical impurities are trapped. There will be a back wash facility to clean up the dirt accumulated in the filter. Pressure sand filters need much less space than gravity filters to treat same quantity of water.
