DUPLEX FILTERS

In continuous process industries, it is not possible to stop the plant for maintenance / cleaning of filters. Duplex Filters are used in such cases. Two nos. simplex filters are connected with two Nos. three-way change over valves (one each at inlet and outlet). While one filter is under operation, other filter acts as standby.
By change over of three-way valves, operation of units can be changed i.e. standby Unit comes under operation, while 1st unit becomes standby, which can be cleaned or maintenance can be carried out as required. Differential pressure gauges and switches are provided.
