APV Plate Heat Exchangers of type N, K, R, M and P can be equipped with a filter insert in the inlet boss without reducing the capacity of the plate heat exchanger.The filter insert cannot be used to replace the standard system filter where larger filtering quantities are required.The filter insert consists of a cylindrical pipe connection made of wire mesh. It is inserted into the inlet port of the plate heat exchanger from the follower blanked port flange.The length of the filter is adapted to the actual number of plates in the system.
