LAUNCHING GANTRY CRANE

The equipment is meant for the positioning of Pre-Compressed (P.C.) beamsrequired for the construction of viaducts and bridges for high way orhigh speed rail way system.
The structure consists of two lattice beams with triangle section,interconnected at their ends via suitable horizontal bracings.
Such beams work as rolling ways for the winch trolleys which lift and transport the P.C. beams.
The longitudinal motion of the launching girder (or self-launching)isachieved via capstan mounted on one of the two winch trolleys.
By anchoring alternatively the beams or the winches it is possible tomotion the P.C. beams or the launching girder respectively.
