JIB CRANE

Jib Cranes have a single enclosed-track boom that pivots about a central mast. Normally they are floor- mounted, but they can also be attached to a wall or the side of a machine.Floor-mounted jibs may require a foundation depending on the load and the reach. There is an alternate style of jib crane that incorporates a second pivot at some distance along the boom. This style of jib crane allows more flexibility but at a moderate cost.Rating: Lowest cost crane style
