LAUNCHING GANTRY CRANE FOR BRIDGES AND VIDUCTS

The equipment is meant for the positioning of Pre-Compressed(P.C.) beamsrequired for the construction of viaducts and bridges forhigh way orhigh speed rail way system.
Thestructure consists of two lattice beams with triangle section,interconnected at their ends via suitable horizontal bracings.
Such beams work as rolling ways for the winch trolleys which lift and transport the P.C. beams.
Thelongitudinal motion of the launching girder (orself-launching)isachieved via capstan mounted on one of the two winchtrolleys.
By anchoring alternatively the beams or the winches it ispossible tomotion the P.C. beams or the launching girder respectively.
