India-Picture - Chidambaram

India-Picture is a result of my travels, mostly as a journalist, but also as Indologist through several regions of India. I hope, that the pictures communicate what I always felt being there: No matter, what one may think about this country, it is impossible not to be fascinated by the people and the culture of India. India Picture may help to give a visual impression of India and also make its Arts, People and Culture known. It may seem strange that a gallery of pictures on India is produced by a German. But to me it makes sense: most of the photos reflect the view of a foreigner on this country. An Indian would most probably take entirely different photos.
