Qi Bai Shi was born in 1863 A.D ( Qing Dynasty ). He was a distinguished Master in modern Chinese art history. The themes of his artworks cover various aspects. Especially, his paintings of plants, birds, and insects, and the ones specifically of shrimp and crabs not only made him the top master of his own time, but also achieved an unprecedented state of admiration.
