The top is usually three or four boards wide and the legs are held in place with a mortise and tenon and have wooden pegs holding it all together. The table also features a 4 inch beaded apron board, which is traditional on many Early American tables.

This Heart Pine farm table is hand built in the Hochstetler workshop.
