a slewing drive device, and an electric hoist. The lower end of the column is fixed on the concrete foundation by anchor bolts. For the application of this kind of slewing bearing, it is necessary
to add lubricating grease regularly according to the working environment to protect the raceway. The raceway should be filled with lubricating grease after 50 working hours for the first time, and
then every 300 working hours after that. The slewing bearing must be filled with grease before and after being placed for a long time. Filling grease should be carried out under the condition of
slow rotation of the slewing bearing. When the grease overflows from the seal, it means that the filling is completed.
How Does a Slewing Bearing Without Gear Work
A slew bearing without gear consists of an inner and outer ring with rolling elements (usually balls or rollers) sandwiched between them. The rolling elements facilitate smooth rotation between the
rings, allowing the bearing to support and transmit loads. These small slewing bearing is often used in applications where an external gear or drive mechanism is employed separately for rotational
motion.
