Vertical and horizontal shaft slurry pump, horizontal froth slurry pump, horizontal centrifugal slurry pumps are two of the most commonly used pumps in the industry. They share several similarities but have noticeable differences in their design and application. Horizontal centrifugal pumps have a horizontal shaft, making it ideal for applications with a limited height of installation space. On the other hand, the vertical centrifugal pump has a vertical shaft which is suitable for applications that require a limited footprint. Horizontal pumps experience less cavitation than vertical pumps, which makes them ideal for high discharge applications whereas vertical pumps create less noise than horizontal pumps. The choice of industrial slurry pumps depends on specific application requirements, space available, and operating conditions.

HOW DO HEAVY DUTY CHINA HORIZONTAL SLURRY PUMPS WORK?

The working principle of the anti corrosion slurry pump is that the slurry enters the pump through the eyes of the rotating impeller, and the impeller generates circular motion. The slurry moves outward under the action of centrifugal force and moves between the blades of the impeller. The slurry reaches high speed when it reaches the impeller edge. In the casing, its high-speed energy is converted into pressure energy. The pump increases the pressure of a liquid and solid particles by centrifugal force and converts electric energy into kinetic energy to pump slurry. This mechanism makes it easy and maintenance-free to pump hazardous and light slurries.
