What Is The Process Of Anodizing?

Anodic oxidation is a process in which the current anode flows through the metal, the oxidation liquid flows as the cathode, the positive elements on the metal surface react with the negative electrode, and a certain thickness of oxide film is formed on the metal surface roughness after a period of reaction.

How Does Anodizing Happen?

The process described for anodic oxidation requires the following processes:

1. Check whether the surface of the parts to be oxidized meets the oxidation conditions, such as polishing, deburring, etc.

2. Fixation before hanging plating (fix the parts by hanging them on the support), fixation before barrel plating (put the parts together in the barrel plating container);

3. Remove the oil stain on the surface of the fixed parts through the oil removal tank. The oil removal process includes ultrasonic oil removal. The duration is 1-5 minutes.

4. Water wash. Move the workpiece up and down repeatedly in the water washing tank to clean the surface. 3-5 round trips.

5. Chemical polishing: immerse the parts in the polishing pool for 1-5 minutes.

6. Remove the impurity film on the surface, and remove the gray film on the surface of the workpiece through the light outlet groove. Generally, it takes 4 minutes.

7. Anodic oxidation: calculate the oxidation time according to the requirements through the oxidation tank. Take out the workpiece within the specified time.

8. Dyeing: if the workpiece needs dyeing, aluminum anodizing service needs to be dyed in a separate dyeing tank. Generally, the dyeing process is completed in 10 minutes.

9. After the previous process is completed, anodisation of aluminium needs to go through the curing process. The whole chemical process of anodic oxidation is completed by curing in the curing tank for a certain time.

10. Blow dry: dry the liquid or impurities on the surface of the workpiece with an air gun.

11. Drying: put the whole workpiece into the drying oven and bake it at 80 ° to 120 ° for about 10 minutes.

12. Inspection and packaging. After the completion of anodizing, the back surface of the anode of the workpiece shall be inspected. If there is no problem, anodised steel shall be packaged and shipped. A workpiece with an air gun.

13. Drying: put the whole workpiece into the drying oven and bake it at 80 ° to 120 ° for about 10 minutes.

14. Inspection and packaging. After the completion of anodizing, the back surface of the anode of the workpiece shall be inspected. If there is no problem, rainbow anodized metal shall be packaged and shipped. A workpiece with an air gun.
