To calculate the distance between fence posts, measure the entire perimeter of your fence and divide it by the number of posts. The result is the space needed between each post. The panels should then be attached to the posts using the appropriate hardware. To finish off the fence and make it more secure, barbed wire and/or razor wire should be added to the top of the fence.
