Slurry Pump Expeller

The standard material of the expeller of the slurry pump is generally cast iron or ductile iron, and it can also be made of A05 as the wetted part material according to customer requirements. In recent years, most customers prefer A05 high-chrome alloy material when purchasing.

The Expeller Seal is an impeller force of reversed centrifugal force, preventing slurry leakage.

When the slurry pump is working, the expeller rotates with the main shaft of the pump, and the liquid in the expeller will also rotate together. The rotating liquid will generate an outward centrifugal force, which will cause the pressure of the medium at the shaft seal to drop to normal pressure or Negative pressure state.

When the slurry pump is stopped, the expeller will also stop rotating, and its centrifugal force will also disappear.

The expeller can not only play a role in sealing, but also play a role in reducing the axial force.

If the expeller is installed, the direction of the pressure differential force acting on the expeller by the liquid is opposite to the pressure differential force acting on the impeller, so that part of the axial force can be offset and the bearing life will be prolonged.

The power seal composed of the expeller and the expeller ring is cheap and easy to maintain.
