AATCC 162 dry cleaning tester/dry cleaning and washing cylinder is used to measure physical indexes such as appearance color, dimensional change and peel strength performance of hot melt adhesive
interlining and various textiles after dry cleaning with organic solvent and alkaline solution.
It can also be used to test the color fastness of fabrics in dry cleaning and chlorine water washing, and can also prepare samples for combustion test.

1. working principle and introduction

AATCC 162-2002 is used to evaluate the color fastness of all kinds of dyed, printed or other dyed yarns and fabrics after soaking in swimming pool water, with a total weight of 5g 0.25g,
including control cloth. If the total weight of a single sample is less than 5g, multiple layers can be used. Add 5ppm chlorine and 100ppm salt into 5000mL distilled water or deionized water, and
then add sodium carbonate and acetic acid to prepare reagent solution with pH value of 7.0. The solution temperature is 21℃. Rolling time: 60min
16 CFR Part 1610-2008 is used for dry cleaning of test samples for combustion test. before washing, the samples must be dry cleaned with 50x150mm commercial grade perchloroethylene, and the
cleaning time with cationic detergent is 10-15min
