JIS SG255 is a Japanese steel grade for welded cylinders (Japanese standard JIS G3116: Steel sheet, plates and strip for gas cylinders). JIS G3116 SG255 steel is equivalent to Chinese welded cylinder steel HP265 (Chinese standard GB6653: Steel plates and strips for welded gas cylinders). The JIS G3116 SG255 steel plate sheet and coil is required to have good stamping and welding performance.
