USES:

The Chinese name for POM is polyformaldehyde. It is a kind of high crystalline polymer, smooth surface, gloss, small water absorption, stable size, wear resistance, high strength, good self-lubrication, good coloring, oil resistance, peroxide and other characteristics. Pom has a good comprehensive performance. It is the hardest of the thermoplastic materials and one of the materials with mechanical properties closest to metal. Pom has excellent tensile strength, bending strength, fatigue resistance, abrasion resistance and electrical properties. It can be used for a long time between -40 ℃ and 100 ℃.

According to different molecular chain structure, polyformaldehyde can be divided into homopolyformaldehyde and comopolyformaldehyde. The former has higher density, crystallinity and melting point, but poor thermal stability. The processing temperature range is narrow (10 ° C), and the stability to acid and base is slightly lower. The latter has low density, crystallinity and melting point, but good thermal stability, not easy to decompose, and wide processing temperature range (50 ° C).
