Bitumen universal sealant BITAREL (with solvent)

Universal sealant BITAREL (with solvent) is a ready-to-use material consisting of petroleum bitumen, polymer, solvent and structuring filler.

Application

• for gluing of rolled roofing and waterproofing materials, the device and repair of mastic roofing, with a reinforcing basis and without, and also rolled and membrane roofs;

• for external and internal waterproofing and anticorrosive protection of concrete, reinforced concrete, metal, wood and other building structures (foundations, basements, piles, floors, etc.).);

• for the insulation of welds and metal surfaces, including pipelines;

• for the device vapor barrier layer;

• for waterproofing pools, bathrooms, baths, showers, structures immersed in the ground (sinkholes, piles, etc.);

Preparation of basis

Treated surface must be dry, clean of dirt, in the winter time with a brush to clean from ice, snow, frost, rusty surface to remove the outer layer of rust and corrosion, processed primer composition (recommended primer quick-drying BITAREL).

Preparation of product

Before use of Universal sealant BITAREL must be thoroughly mixed, if necessary, diluted with a solvent to the desired consistency.

Product application

Sealant is applied in layers with a brush, spatula, pouring followed by leveling, spray brush. Each subsequent layer is applied after drying the previous one. Operating temperature of mastic depending on ambient temperature from +5 °C to +30°C. at ambient temperature below 0°C, mastic must be kept indoors at room temperature for at least a day.

Average consumption

1,0-1,5 kg / m2 on one layer (mastic consumption depends on the number of layers applied).

10 kg (10l metal bucket) - 36 packages per pallet

20 kg (20l metal bucket) - 36 packages per pallet

50 kg (50l metal drum) - 12 packages per pallet
