High Precision Electro Deposited Metal Bellows

Electroformed metal bellows manufactured by SAIS are utilized for metallic hermetic seals, volume compensators, pressure and temperature sensors, flexible connectors, and other applications. SAIS start researching electroformed series products since 1970, and we are the only manufacturer of electrodeposited bellows in China.
Electrodeposited (or electroformed) bellows are available in various materials to ensure the proper design for application. Our electrodeposited (electroformed) bellows are lightweight, seamless, leak tight, flexible and repeatable. Standard sizes are available through our national class product line. Our experienced engineering and manufacturing staff can design and assemble finished components to simplify customer\'s installation and increase performance.
To start manufacture an electrode-posited metal bellows, first need to building thin layers of metal onto a precision-machined mandrel, then electrode-posited nickel onto the mandrel to precise wall thicknesses, and chemically removing the mandrel. Finally, the aluminum mandrel is dissolved in caustic solution leaving behind the completed electroform or bellows.
