LZX-15-1650 Al-alloy Continuous Casting and Rolling Line
1. Application
This line adopts original rotary continuous casting machine and the technology of continuous casting and rolling, to produce Al-Mg-Si alloy rod (Alloy No. 6101A-6005, 11 kinds) with a diameter of 9.5 mm, and Al-Mg alloy rod which are used as electrical conductor of high intensity.
During the process of producing Al-alloy rod, induction heater meets the temperature requirement of the cast bar for rolling process and it can do heating and adjusting automatically. The continuous rolling machine has function of automatically feeding and rods stacking stop. Continuous quenching device has function of in-line quenching. To clean off the moisture on the surface of the al. rod, a blower is fixed at the end of the guiding pipe. At the same time, a pinch-roller is installed to ensure a smooth delivery of the alloy rod. The arc guiding pipe is in a trolley-guiding construction to reduce the scratch upon the wire rods surface.
The rod is coiled by means of centrifugal laying head. On the one hand, the al. alloy is preformed before entering the collecting basket; on the other hand, the end of rod drops down into the basket automatically in case rod broken. Given the device of basket changing for wire rods accumulating, the rod coils are kept in order in collection basket to realize continuous coiling. There is no need for heater when used for the production of Al- rod.
