Aball valveis a form of quarter-turn valve which uses a hollow, perforated and pivoting ball to control flow through it. It is open when the ball's hole is in line with the flow
and closed when it is pivoted 90-degrees by the valve handle. The handle lies flat in alignment with the flow when open, and is perpendicular to it when closed, making for easy visual confirmation
of the valve's status.
Ball valves are durable, performing well after many cycles, and reliable, closing securely even after long periods of disuse. These qualities make them an excellent choice for shutoff and control applications, where they are often preferred to gates and globe valves, but they lack their fine control in throttling applications.
Manufactured in three pieces to facilitate replacement on plants which requires frequent maintenance.
Ends: female threads as per UNI/ISO 7/1 Rp; pocket welding; butt welding.
Standard seals: PTFE.
Working temperature: from -20°C to +180°C
Working pressure: see diagram.
Fluid range: air, water, gas, petroleum and petrochemical products, aggressive media.
Head of the valve as per ISO 5211 specifications.
Seals made of:
- RPTFE (15% glass filled),
- CTFE (25% carbon filled),
- TFM 1600.

Class 300 valves have a pressure rating of 300 pounds per square inch (psi) or 20.7 bar, allowing them to withstand higher pressures than Class 150 valves. They are commonly used in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation, and refining. Class 300 valves ...
Wafer Body, Full Port Design, Flanged End Class 3000 Ball Valve. A ball valve class 3000 pressure-rated ball valve that is small and light. It works best in applications where the temperature range is between -20°F (-29°C) and 450°F (232°C). What Is The Typical Operating ...
Class 2500 valves can be used for both on-off and throttling applications. The specific valve type and design will determine their suitability for a particular application. Gate valves class 2500 are often preferred for on-off service, while globe valves class 2500 or class ...
globe valve class 150 is a pressure rating designation defined by standards organizations, such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). It indicates the maximum pressure that a valve can withstand under normal ...
A class 1500 valve made of 316 stainless steel, for instance, can sustain 248 bar of pressure at 25 ºC, but only 166 bar at 250 ºC. However, in Carbon Steel A105, it can work up to 255 bar at 25ºC and only 209 bar at 250ºC. What Are The Key Features Of Class 1500 Valves? ...
