5-EAPB also referred to as 1-(benzofuran-5-yl)-N-ethylpropan-2-amine is an N-ethyl comparison of 5-APB as well as being structurally related to similar compound. With its relationship to the above compounds it is thought be agonists of the 5-HT2C receptor along with being a triple monoamine reuptake inhibitors.

Research on 5-eapb was conducted by ACD/Labs' and US Environmental Protection Agency's EPISuite, however, no research has been done of 5-EAPB at this time.
