New Horizon selected seafood products come from our own modern fish farms. We start with our own high quality Tilapia fingerlings which are hormone-free all male fish from old brand naturally selected brood stock parents (not GMO) and Red Tilapia fingerling from our own hatchery from Red Tilapia brood stock parents imported from Israel. We use premium quality feed with high percentage of vegetable source protein. Our fish are cultured under low densities with well replacement of natural water providing top water quality and generous environmental conditions for premium aquaculture products. Our stress free harvesting methods provide only top quality fish which are transported live to our processing facilities documented with HACCP and ISO certificated. New Horizon offers a variety of products and we make sure to stay by the product from harvest to consumer. We handle all logistics and shipments from the farm to the processing plant and from the packaging and cold storage throughout the cold chain route. We manage and monitor the cold chain with state of the art tracing and tracking techniques to make sure the product is under our control until it reaches it final destination. New Horizon seafood product is a labeled product with our top quality certificate and premium standard guaranty. We are one of the few companies who can provide safe labeled product since we have a modern quality Control and Quality Assurance certifications to meet our high demanding standards. We are currently leading the European Chill-On project which is the sixth framework Program (FP-6) by validating new tracing technology in the field. The R& D project is currently developing a state of the art seafood traceability system which will be used to trace our fish from farms around the world to Europe.
