TCL Air-Conditioner (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. (TCL Home Appliances Overseas Business Division (TCL HAO) China (Mainland)

In Oct. 1999, TCL Air Conditioner Division was established, and Mr. Hulixian became the General Manager. In Nov. 1999, the R&D center was established. In Dec. 1999, products of TCL Air-Conditioner formally came into the market. In Feb. 2000, TCL developed the first vertical wind delivery air conditioner, and became the Little Aeolus Vertical Wind Delivery Household Cabinet Unit. In Dec. 2000, TCL Air-Conditioner (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. (TCL Home Appliances Overseas Business Division (TCL HAO)) was established. In Apr. 2001, TCL established a joint venture with Thaiwan Rechi to produce compressors. In Sep. 2002, the second-phase project of TCL Air-Conditioner (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd. was finished, and the annual production capacity reached 1.5 million sets. In Jun. 2004, Zhongshan production base was reconstructed, and the annual capacity reached 3 million sets. In Mar. 2005, TCL Air-Conditioner (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. was put into production, and the total production capacity reached 6 million sets. In 2005, TCL established a joint venture with Italian Delonghi Company to produce portable air conditioners and dehumidifiers, and became the largest air conditioner and dehumidifier base in the world. In 2005, the sales volume reached 1.9 million. In 2008, TCL Home Appliances Corporation Overseas Business Division was established.TCL Air Conditioner Division was established in October 1999. With six years' development, TCL Air Conditioner Division has already grown into a comprehensive professional refrigerating appliance enterprise with strong R&D power, huge manufacturing capacity, and professional sales and marketing services. Our company has a comprehensive series of products, including residential and commercial air conditioners, portable air conditioners and dehumidifiers. Currently, TCL Air Conditioner Division owns two production bases at Zhongshan in Guangdong Province and Wuhan in Hubei Province, two joint ventures including TCL-Delonghi JV and TCL-Rechi Compressor JV. Now, TCL Air-Conditioner Division owns 30 production lines with an annual capacity of 7 million sets in total. In 2007, the sales volume reached 1,900,000 sets, including 1,300,000 sets for oversea markets. Now, TCL air-conditioners are selling well in more than 140 countries, enjoying a reputable image globally.
