In 1979, Mr Tran Van Hung, the founder of Hungca Company Limited today decided to start exploiting natural fish resource all by his great passion for the field. Ten years later, he began farming Pangasius at large scale, and Hungca Company Limited was established in the year of 1989,Initially, the cultural areas were mainly located at Thuong Lai ward, Hong Ngu district, Dong Thap province . The farming area of Hungca has reached 250 hectares including more than 80 farms in many cultural zones such as Hong Ngu, Thanh Binh, Tam Nong (Dong Thap province) and a well-equipped factory with the output of 15.000 tonnes finish products per year.
