Bestong Holding Limited China (Mainland)

Bestong Holding Limited was registered in 1972 and commenced mining in South China in 1978. BESTONG's business focuses on ferroalloy, metal, mineral and chemical products. For the 12 months period to 31 December 2003, sales of products from Sourh China generated operating revenue for BESTONG of around US $8. 23 million. In China BESTONG employs over 220 people, of whom 102 are residents. BESTONG's major operating costs comprise labour, electricity, maintenance and rehabilitation of mined areas. BESTONG also indirectly employs many local businesses and contractors, which provide services to the chemical company. The operatoin area has also grown since BESTONG began operations. Schools, medical services, roads, electricity and water supplies and communication links have been established with the assistance of the company's 23 years of chemical. BESTONG exports chemical products to around 20 countries.
