Precast Concrete Door/Window frames are made out of cement, sand, aggregates mixed in suitable proportions to obtain the desired strength alongwith fibre and super-plasticizer. The mix is vibrated for some time in the vibrating table to compact the concrete. Steel bars are used as reinforcement for manufacturing Door/Window frames. These can be extensively used in all building construction activities as substitutes to conventional timber door/ window frames. Concrete door and window frames are much more superior in strength, durability and quality as compare to traditional timber door & window frames at a substantial cost saving. Commercial levels of production can be taken up at a low level of investment and with minimal training. Precast concrete door/window frames are 30-40% cheaper than ordinary sal wood chaukhats and 10-15% cheaper than angle iron frames
