Used in multiple industries such as ground mounted solar, flags, signs, tents, levee shoring, wave amplitude diversion, oil pipeline sensor mount, emergency shelter (military/civial temporay or permanent), soil erosion barriers, temporar fencing/signs, static line tensioning, tents, tele-comunications, radio toweres, fencing permanent, horticulture (vineyard truses, tree stabilizing), bollards (non-crash), and more.
Load capacity from 4,000 to 25,000 fp upload and lateral loading, depending on the soil composition. Calssified as catagory 56, tempporary/long term. In that it can be screwed into the ground, it can be unscrewed and reused in temporary applications. Superior to a "screw anchor" offering limited holding capacity offering three loading surfaces.Soil compression anchors offer 5 load bearing surfeaces for added strength and holding power.
Receives to mount multiple configuration of vertical uprights, square, round, irregular and all with only one component anachor unit. Stabilization is achieved with compression ring clamping by tightening cap,adjustable from 2 3/8 inch to smaller.
Soil compression earth auger anchors are not designed to dig a hole. Rather, they are screwed into the ground using a 3/4inch square drive ratchet w/extension, "t" handle, impact gun or hydraulic tractor powerhead. As the anchor rotates into the soil, it packs the soil tighter and increases the density of the soil providing a stronger holding capacity. Can be installed vertically or horitontally, above ground or under water.
