Properties
1. Huge adsorption
It has times or scores of times of adsorption as activated carbon in VOC or odorous substance, as well as in non-organic gas. It also does well in adsorbing microbe and bacteria, i.e.
escherichia coli adsorbing efficiency can reach 94-95%.
2. High velocity
It saturates quickly in gas phase adsorption, so does in liquid phase adsorption.
3. Its adsorbing rate is 2 to 3 magnitude higher than that of activated carbon.
4. Easily regenerated. It can be totally desorbed by heating air at 120-150 for 10min-30min, whose adsorption keeps unchanged approximately.
5. It is acid-proof and alkali-proof and has good electrical conductivity and chemical stability.
