Carboxypeptidase B (or peptidyl-L-lysine (-L-arginine) hydrolase) catalyzes the hydrolysis of the basic amino acids, lysine, arginine, and ornithine from the C-terminal position of polypeptides. It has been shown to be a single polypeptide of 34 kDa Da. Trypsin is capable of converting native enzyme to the active enzyme, carboxypeptidase B II in vitro. The optimum pH is found to be 9.0. The enzyme may be used for sequence analysis by successive cleavage of C-terminal basic amino acids. It can also be used as a serum marker for the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis.http://www.creative-enzymes.com/product/Native-Human-Carboxypeptidase-B_973.html

Human SCN10A/SCN3B Stable Cell Line-CHO
Human SCN10A/SCN3B Stable Cell Line-CHO

The human Nav1.8 gene encodes the pore-forming subunit of a voltage-gated Na+ channel that is expressed in nociceptive peripheral neurons. Co-expression with the auxiliary beta 3 subunit promotes surface expression. The Nav1.8 channel is a therapeutic target in pain treatment. ...

Native Human Superoxide Dismutase
Native Human Superoxide Dismutase

Superoxide dismutase (SOD) catalyzes the dismutation of superoxide radicals to hydrogen peroxide and molecular oxygen. SOD plays a critical role in the defense of cells against the toxic effects of oxygen radicals. SOD competes with nitric oxide (NO) for superoxide anion (which ...

Native Pseudomonas sp. Carboxypeptidase G

Carboxypeptidase G is a lysosomal, thiol-dependent protease, which progressively cleaves γ-glutamyl pteroyl poly-γ-glutamate yielding pteroyl-α-glutamate (folic acid) and free glutamate. It is considered highly specific for the γ-glutamyl bond, but not for the C-terminal ...
