The most common daily maintenance for slurry pumps is to pay more attention to maintenance during operation.

1. Pay attention to changes in the meter pointer. Under normal operation, the position of the instrument pointer should be basically stable at a certain position. If the instrument pointer changes drastically or jumps, the cause should be identified immediately. For example, if the vacuum gauge reading rises, it may be that the suction pipe is blocked or the water level of the water source drops; if the pressure gauge reading rises, it may be that the pressure water pipe is clogged; if the pressure gauge reading drops, it may be that the suction pipe is leaking and air is being sucked in, or The speed should be reduced, the impeller is clogged, etc. For motors, you should pay attention to whether the reading on the current meter exceeds the rated current of the motor. If the current is too large or too small, you should stop and check it in time.

2. If a large pump unit uses a water-cooled bearing or a circulating oil-cooled motor, the water and oil circuits should be kept smooth. If the circulating cooling system fails, the pump should be stopped immediately for maintenance.

3. For foreign consumption units without insulation measures, when the water pump is not running in winter, all the slurry in the pump cavity should be drained to prevent the water pump from freezing and cracking. Pumps that have not been used for a long time should also drain the slurry to prevent particles from settling and clogging the pump chamber.
