Our Quyang town was titled "Land of carvings"by the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Mr Bangguo Wu in 1986.In 1995,it was formally named of"Land of carvings of China"by Chinese State Department.In 2006,"Quyang carving"was inscribed on the first batch of the State Intangible Cultural Heritage list.In 2008,it was titled "Land of Folk Culture and Art of China"by Chinese State Department.
