Cedar was established in 1993 producing LCD based electronic products, including calculators, euro converters, radios, databanks and electronic games. During the past five years, the company has experienced tremendous growth as it continued to penetrate new markets in both east and west, commanding substantial market shares in targeted territories. The rapid business growth has made it necessary to expand its production facilities in Dongguan, the PRC. Cedar's production facilities are located in Dongguan, the PRC & consist of a tooling maintenance workshop, plastic injection molding department, silicon rubber department and bonding department, all producing the required spare parts for the final assembling process at the main production plant. Today, its factories occupy a total floor area of approximately 15, 000 square meters, with a total number of about 350 labour workers. To cope with the increasing demand of its products, the production capacity has been increased simultaneously to an average of 1, 000, 000 units per month with scope for further increment
